First design stage for Villa Nyberg on Ekerö is done

















The first design phase of Villa Nyberg is done. The house adapts to the steep hill and has a roofterrace in two levels which mimics the floorlevels inside the building. The wood cladding and the window frames are painted black.

Erik Andersson Architects wins first prize in architectural design competition in Norrköping, Sweden.




























EAA was invited as one of three teams to design a new bridge over the river Motala Ström in the City of Norrköping. The bridge will be constructed of stainless steel plates, welded together to create a highly polished exterior with no visible seams. The bridge will mirror the river and have an artificial waterfall built into its railings.

EAA to design new villa in Ekerö



Erik Andersson Architects has been invited to design a new villa in Ekerö. The 175 sqm villa will be situated on a hill overlooking the lake Mälaren. The first stage of the projects starts in August.

City of Norrköping soon to decide winner of bridge competition



EAA has been invited as one of three firms to design a foot bridge in the City of Norrköping.
The winner will soon be announced.

Arkitekturmuseet to show bridges designed by EAA


Arkitekturmuseet will show a big exhibition, Fokus infrastruktur, about Swedish infrastructure in the beginning of October. EAA will participate with models and photographs of the new motorway-bridges on Väg 73 which we have designed for the National Road Administration. Photographer Rasmus Norlander.

EAA designs for the Swedish National Parks



EAA has been invited by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, together with four other teams, to a design competition for the Swedish National Parks. EAA has worked in a team together with Henrik Nygren Design and landscape architect Johan Paju. The assignment is to create a new identity for the Swedish National Parks. The proposals can be seen in pdf-format on the Swedish Association of Architects webpage.

EAA invited to design multi-storey housing in Stockholm


Swedish company Sätila Holding has invited EAA, as well as our colleagues Tham Videgård Hansson Arkitekter, Thomas Sandell and Johannes Norlander, to make a design proposal for a multi-storey housing unit on top of an existing office building in Stockholm. First phase is over. Second phase is under way in August.

EAA shortlisted for design competition in Qatar










Erik Andersson Architects has been short-listed as one of four teams to participate in an international architectural competition to design two 100m footbridges for the Lusail Development in Qatar. Erik Andersson Architects will work together with Hanif Kara and his team at Adams Kara Taylor. The competition is organised by real estate developer Qatari Diar Real Estate.
